About This Programme
Musculoskeletal injury from unsafe patient handling is one of the most common causes of healthcare worker sickness absence. This Level 2 mandatory module ensures all clinical staff can assess manual handling risks, apply safe handling principles and correctly use assistive equipment including hoists, slide sheets and transfer belts. Fully compliant with the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and HSE guidance.
