About This Programme
A flexible 6–12 month programme covering public health and community medicine. Available as a fellowship or diploma. Covers community health needs assessment, epidemiology, maternal and child health, health promotion, and primary healthcare systems.
Eligibility
MBBS or equivalent. Community/public health interest.
What You'll Learn
Conduct a community health needs assessment using standard epidemiological tools and data sources
Analyse and interpret epidemiological data including incidence, prevalence, RR and NNT calculations
Design and evaluate community-based health promotion programmes using behaviour change theory
Manage maternal and child health programmes including immunisation, nutrition and antenatal care
Apply the principles of communicable disease surveillance and outbreak investigation
Navigate health policy and governance frameworks at district, national and international levels
